Cervical screening helps detect early signs of cervical cancer, often before any symptoms appear. It’s a simple test that checks for changes in the cervix that could develop into something more serious over time.
Who it’s for:
Most people with a cervix aged 25 to 69
Especially those who have been sexually active at any point
If you’re unsure whether you need one, feel free to ask us
What to expect:
The test usually takes just a few minutesIt may involve a small sample being collected from the cervix
You may be offered self-screening or have the option for a clinician to do it
Results are generally sent out within a couple of weeks
Why it matters:
Screening can help prevent cervical cancer
It picks up early changes before they cause harm
It’s one of the best ways to protect your long-term health
How to access it:
Just pop in or get in touch — we’ll help guide you through it
Appointments are recommended, but we may accept walk-ins depending on availability
